The RCMP Musical Ride will be making their way to the Norfolk County Fairgrounds on Tuesday, September 12th, 2023 as part of its cross-Canada tour. A Canadian symbol of tradition, honour and pride, the Musical Ride is recognized internationally. This year also marks the 150th anniversary of the RCMP in Canada.
The Musical Ride consists of a team of up to 32 riders (all RCMP members) and horses demonstrating their spectacular equestrian skill through a variety of formations and cavalry drills set to music.
For those looking for a great Canadian experience, there is nothing more iconic than seeing our riders in their red serge on the beautiful black horses execute a series of cavalry drills choreographed to music. These movements demand the utmost control, timing, and coordination.
Tickets are $10 in advance ($15 after August 31) for the 2:30 pm show and $15 in advance ($20 after August 31) for the 6:30 pm show. Pricing is for all ages.
The shows will include stable access to visit the horses and their riders, RCMP displays, food trucks, special pre-show entertainment, and an opportunity to meet and greet the horses after each show.
If you haven’t attended this spectacular event it is a must see for kids and adults alike. Many who have enjoyed this show return in anticipation of seeing it again.
