“Janitorial Staff, Building  and Maintenance Supervisors, Track Support Staff, Facility Maintenance Crews, Equipment Operators and General Labourers are needed to help us before, during and after the Fair” said General Manager George Araujo.  “This year, like every year, the focus is on safety for staff, volunteers and our patrons”.

Some persons hired will work just the seven days of the Fair, while others up to two months from September through October depending on availability, skills and experience.  All applicants should be prepared to follow all safety protocols.  Jobs involve rotating shifts with varied start times.  Previous applicants are welcome.

“Excellent customer service and a positive attitude are big assets.” added Araujo.

Food Booths

Feeling hungry?  Not sure what might tantalize the taste buds? There are approximately 50 food booths that exhibit at the Fair.  The number one reason most visitors come to the Fair is Food!  Fair food isn’t your typical candy floss, taffy and corn dogs anymore, not that there is anything more tempting but we have come a long way!

Last year CTV Kitchener came to the Fair and visited one of our long standing vendors Laur’s Taffy.  See how it’s made.  Tasty!

On top of the over 50 food booths we also feature three onsite restaurants.
As we get closer to fair time, we will list the food vendors coming this year, what is new and also some of the menus and what will be offered!
