General Managers, George Araujo (Norfolk County Fair) and Dave Kent (Norfolk Has Talent) are both very pleased to jointly announce this new partnership. Dave Kent and the Board of Directors of NHT were thrilled with the talent that came out to audition for the previous events. A year off to re-group and re-structure was beneficial. “Past seasons have proven that Norfolk does indeed have talent of great proportion. The judges and volunteers that worked these auditions saw some incredible acts. We anticipate audiences will once again be thrilled with the end result at this year’s live stage show which will take place during the Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show on Thanksgiving Monday, October 9th,” says Kent.

Fair General Manager George Araujo was excited about the opportunity to bring this to the Fair “Norfolk Has Talent is a perfect fit for our Rec Centre Stage that is home to Taste of Norfolk. In addition to cheering on the County’s best talent on stage, patrons will be able to enjoy the best food and beverages from our community.”

This year those wishing to take a shot at the grand prize of $2,000.00 and secondary prizes will be able to do so in four audition venues over the course of two weekends.

A new feature this year will be a People’s Choice Award where fans in attendance will be able to cast a vote for their favourite to win $500.00.

Tickets for the Showcase will be available online at the fair website.

The Live Stage Show begins with a special appearance by Bellwoods. They have just released their new single “Don’t Go Losing Sleep” to follow their hit “Live it Up” which burnt up the radio charts last year.

Showcase doors open at the Rec Centre at 3:00pm Thanksgiving Monday, October 9th the final day of the Fair.
