Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show 2020 Cancelled

June 18, 2020– It is with great sadness we announce that the Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show will not move forward as planned for its seven day fair from October 6 – 12. The Board of Directors, in consultation with volunteers and staff, have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Fair. 

 The safety and well-being of our community, volunteers, exhibitors, partners and fair patrons always comes first.  Please be assured that this decision was made out of an abundance of caution for all. 

 We understand how important the Fair is to our community and know that it continues to be a time-honoured tradition for many individuals and families.  This year, we were planning a big celebration to commemorate our 180th anniversary. Although this is not the way in which we wanted to honour this milestone, we know that we will be able to gather together once again and share in the excitement and fun of your Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show.  We are considering all options, including the potential of presenting Fair programs online for this fall.  Stay tuned for further announcements and visit our social media and web site for up to date information in the coming weeks. 

 Our entire Fair team wants to thank you for your continued support.  We are grateful to our dedicated partners and volunteers, and you, our patrons that remain devoted to the Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show.  See you next year, at the Fair.
