Q: What is the status of the 2021 Norfolk County Fair and Horse Show?
The Norfolk County Fair and Horse Show will be held October 5-11, 2021 and will follow all provincial
regulations and local guidance for COVID-19 at the time of the event.
Q: Do we need to be vaccinated or show a vaccination record to enter?
We have been advised by the Haldimand Norfolk Health Unit that to comply with Provincial regulations, all persons entering buildings during the Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show will need to be fully vaccinated (2 (two) doses plus 14 (fourteen days) and provided proof of vaccination as well as government issued identity. At this time, the Norfolk County Fair does not yet require attendees to be vaccinated or provide proof of
vaccination status for entry to the Fair itself; however, we do encourage everyone to comply with public
health guidelines and recommendations regardless of vaccination status. This may change.
Q: Are masks mandatory?
Masks are not mandatory while distanced from others enjoying the massive outdoor grounds of the
Norfolk County Fair. However, in accordance with the provincial guidelines, masks or facial coverings are
required when entering any indoor spaces, or anytime adequate distance from others cannot be
maintained indoors or out.
Q: How / where can we buy tickets?
You can now purchase Fair admission tickets at the gates upon arrival. You can also purchase online. For this year, you must purchase an admission ticket for the specific day you plan on attending. Tickets will not be sold at Roulston’s Pharmacies for this year. Tickets are available here
Q: How much are tickets?
Daily Tickets start at $12 for adults, $7 for Youth and Kids 5 and under are free. For this year, you must purchase an admission ticket for the specific day you plan on attending. Tickets are available here
Q: Will ride bracelets be available for purchase in advance?
Ride bracelets will be available daily during the Fair only at certain hours directly from the World’s Finest
Shows ticket kiosks on our grounds. They will not be sold in advance this year. CLICK HERE for detailed information.
Q: Will there be entertainment and grandstand shows?
‘Party on the Track’ is featuring Tim Hicks on Friday and James Barker Band on Saturday
evenings, both shows have sold out. No grandstand seating available.
The Rec Centre will be open with entertainers on stage and table seating throughout the duration of the
fair. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination for those 12 years of age and over will be required to attend any
performance at the Rec Centre as well as a free pass to be available on our website. Tickets are available here.
Since we are unable to maintain appropriate distancing amongst spectators, the grandstand will not be
open and the motorsports shows and demolition derbies will not take place this year but will return in

Q: Will there be midway rides? Which ones?
There will be rides to enjoy on the midway, though fewer in number to accommodate distancing and line
separation. World’s Finest Shows will select the rides to feature, and will manage the midway layout. For

Q: What about the competitions?
Many of the competitions that are an important part of Fair tradition will be able to take place in 2021,
others were not able to move forward and will be back for a full lineup in 2022! The full list of all
categories and prizes can be found by clicking HERE . No printed books were produced this year. The
deadline to submit entries is September 25th at 5pm.
Q: Will there be horse shows?

When can I pick up tags for my entries?
All tags are available now at the Fair Office, 9am-5pm daily (including the weekend). They can also be picked up the day you bring your entries in.
