  • Where is the event located?
    • The Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show takes place at the Norfolk County Fairgrounds, located at 172 South Drive, Simcoe ON, N3Y1G6.
  • What are the dates of the event?
    • The Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show runs Tuesday, October 3 through Thanksgiving Monday, October 9.

  • How can I get tickets/how much are they?
    • Tickets can be purchased in advance at all Roulston’s Pharmacy locations, or online at norfolkcountyfair.com
    • Concert tickets are not available at Roulston’s, but are at norfolkcountyfair.com

  • What can I see and do at the Fair?
    • FIVE nights of Motorsports in front of the Main Grandstand
    • Extensive midway provided by World’s Finest Shows
    • Horse and Livestock shows throughout the week
    • Exhibits and displays featuring competition entries
    • Fair favourite Bandaloni – the one man band – all 7 days of the Fair
    • Lounge 5 sees live local musical entertainment Wed-Mon 
    • Friday, October 6  is headlined by sensational Country duo The Reklaws
    • Saturday, October 7 is headlined by Josh Ross, featuring Alli Walker
      • Both days, the concert areas will open at 6:30pm, and feature live DJ entertainment to start the Pure Spirits Party on the Track 
  • Is the Fair suitable for all ages?
    • The Norfolk County Fair and Horse Show is an all-ages, family event with shopping, 50+ food options, rides, games and activities for everyone. This includes access to the licensed local beer, wine, spirits and cider area in Lounge 5.
    • Children 5 and under are admitted free, youth pricing is available, and Tuesday, October 3 all students receive FREE admission to the Fair! 
    • During the Pure Spirits Party on the Track, Friday and Saturday evenings, Trackside General Admission, VIP area and select sections in the Grandstand are limited to 19+ attendees only, licensed for alcohol service for the concerts. Sections A & B  in the Grandstand are all-ages, and no alcohol will be permitted in these two sections.
  • Do I need a ticket to enter the Fair for the concerts?
    • New this year, Friday & Saturday Night concert tickets INCLUDE Fair admission. 
  • If I purchase a weekly admission pass, will I receive a discount on my concert ticket?
    • The price of Fair gate admission has been bonused into the concert tickets to avoid confusion at gates, provide consistency with other events on our grounds (ie. Fairgrounds Festival) and to ease the messaging to newcomers to the fair. 
    • The weekly admission pass for advance purchase is priced at $58, and provides a deep discount on the price of admission for 7 days of the Fair.  If purchased at regular admission prices, this would represent $99 in admission, if purchased at advance rates, $84 in admission tickets for 7 days of the fair. 
    • The weekly pass still represents a savings off the advance and regular admission rate, even if used for five days of the fair.  It will be up to the discretion of the event-goer to decide whether their use of the weekly pass, outside of Friday and/or Saturday for the concerts will be advantageous to them. 
  • Does my small child need a ticket in the Grandstand for the Concerts?
    • Everyone in the main grandstand during the concerts requires a ticket for their seat. A Lap infant (UNDER 2) is able to enter the Grandstand ONLY in the all ages sections Section A & B with a ticketed guardian.  The child must sit on the lap of the parent.  
  • Is there On-site Parking?
    • Yes! There is parking on-site, for a cost of $10. Parking may be purchased in advance or on arrival. 
  • Is there public transportation?
    • There is limited public transit in Norfolk County, but you can explore available options at norfolkcounty.ca/transit

  • How can I become a Sponsor?
  • Is there camping available?
    • There is no on-site camping available to the public.  More information about Norfolk County accommodation options can be found at norfolkcounty.ca/visiting

  • Can I refund or make changes to my ticket purchase? 
    • All ticket purchases are final, and no refunds or exchanges can be made after purchase.
  • What if there is inclement weather?
    • This event, and the concerts will take place rain or shine.  No refunds will be offered in the case of inclement weather.
  • Is the event accessible?
    • We strive to provide an inclusive environment, including an accessible seating area in front of the Grandstand, and accessible washrooms available.

  • Can I smoke at the event?
    • The Norfolk County Fairgrounds aims to provide a smoke free environment, this includes vaping and e-cigarettes.  A designated smoking area will be clearly marked.
  • Can I bring my dog?
    • No pets are permitted on the Fairgrounds, with the exception of working service animals.
