JUNE CONCERT/ NNM INFO/ FAQ

• Where is the event located?

• • The Fairgrounds Festival takes place in Norfolk County, at 172 South Drive, Simcoe ON, N3Y1G6. 

• Who is the entertainment?

• • Friday June 9th is headlined by the Beaches
  • Saturday June 10 rocks with Bif Naked, Sloan and Finger Eleven
  • Both days will feature local acts on the North Stage for the duration of the afternoon

• Is the event all ages?

• • The Norfolk Night Market happening as part of the Fairgrounds Festival is an all ages event with vendors, food trucks, games and activities for everyone. This includes access to the licensed local beer, wine and cider area.  
  • The Party on the Track, VIP area and Select sections in the Grandstand are 19+ only for the concert.  Section A in the Grandstand is all ages, and no alcohol will be permitted in the Grandstand. 

• Do I need a ticket for the Norfolk Night Market?

• • Yes, anyone over 12 years of age will need a ticket for entry onto the grounds. Children aged 12 and under are FREE. 

• Does my small child need a ticket in the Grandstand?

• • Everyone in the grandstand requires a ticket for their seat. 

• What is the Night Market?

An extension of the successful 2022 Night Market featuring local artisans, tourism zones, food trucks, live local musicians, local beer, wine and cider in an immersive festival setting

• Is there Free On-site Parking?

• • • Yes! There is on-site Parking and it is FREE!
      
      
  • How do I become a vendor?
    • Artisans with handmade products, food vendors and alcohol purveyors can sign up to participate at fairgroundsfestival.ca
      
      

• Is there public transportation?

• • There is limited public transit in Norfolk County, but you can explore available options at norfolkcounty.ca/transit

• Is there camping available?

• • There is no on-site camping available, though there may be some options available at campgrounds in the area.  More information about Norfolk County accommodation options can be found here.  APP PAGE

• Can I refund or make changes to my ticket purchase? 

• • All ticket purchases are final, and no refunds or exchanges can be made after purchase. 

• What if the weather is bad?

• • This event, and the concerts will take place rain or shine.  No refunds will be offered in the case of inclement weather. 

• What hours is the event open?/ When will the bands perform?

• • The Fairgrounds Festival will open at 3pm on both Friday June 9th and Saturday June 10th, offering Artisan vendors at the Norfolk Night Market, Food Trucks, and beer garden as well as live local music on the ‘North Stage’ 
  • The Party on the Track for the headline concerts will open at 6:30pm for those with tickets to the concert areas.

• Is there food available for purchase?

• • Yes! Many local food trucks and restaurants will be offering their various specialties for purchase

• Is the event accessible?

• • We strive to provide an inclusive environment, including an accessible seating area in front of the Grandstand, and accessible washrooms available.  

• Can I smoke at the  event?

• • The Norfolk County Fairgrounds aims to provide a smoke free environment, this includes vaping and e-cigarettes.  A designated smoking area will be clearly marked. 

• Can I  bring my dog?

• • No pets are permitted on the Fairgrounds, with the exception of working service animals.
